[INFO FV 2012] Brake Test
Part of Formula Varsity 2012 event regulation, there is requirement for ‘Acceleration & Brake Test. The purpose of acceleration and braking test is to evaluate the car acceleration and braking performance in a straight line on flat pavement.
Accelerate and Brake test procedure:
1) The car and brake test will begin from a standing start over a distance of 50 m on a flat surface.

[BLOG] Media & Industry Collaboration
Salam all,
I have always believed that, if Formula Varsity (FV) wanted to become a ‘huge’ event in Malaysia, their organizing committee should seriously involve this event with media and major industry player. During my involvement as organizing committee in year 2008, we once tried to get media partnership from Majalah 3 (TV3) but unluckily there is no response from them. We also tried to get sponsorship from Petronas, but we could not get any positive response. I believed during that time, there is no good track record from this event because during the first FV (2006), organizer only managed to get two participants (from UTeM; formerly known as KUTKM and UTHM; formerly known as KUiTTHO) and there is no history of media coverage.
Now, in year of 2012, FV should already have a good track records and managed to get lots of media attention. Organizing committee of FV 2012 should consider seriously to get a media partnership from TV’s station and try to get a sponsorships from key industry players such as Proton or Perodua.
I’m looking forward to see this things to happen!

[BLOG] Another race event?
Amazing! Recently i found out that, beside Formula Varsity, EIMARace and IPMARace, there will be another Malaysian style of ‘Formula Student’. This event will be held by Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) through their Automotive Racing Team society. Currently their in stage of doing survey to get feedback from blog viewers. Here is the blog link and I’m quoting part of their blog’s posting.
“Assalamualaikum & Salam Sejahtera,
Sekian Terima Kasih.”
